We are looking for Financial Services Interns to join our Finnair Business Services team in Tartu, Estonia.
Financial Services internship program in Finnair Business Services OÜ (FBS) covers a wide area of financial accounting in an international company. FBS is a shared service center who provides financial services to the whole Finnair group. In the Finance area, our main task is to perform financial accounting services, including preparing financial statements of individual group companies. Additionally, we provide support for Business Control and Treasury teams located in Finland by providing accurate financial information for management purposes.
During this 8-week internship, you will gain observational experience in various financial processes while also engaging in some practical tasks. The program starts with accounts payable functions and gradually expands to cover other areas of financial accounting.
The internship program is not paid, however in case of successful cooperation, there will be a chance to continue as a summer assistant in FBS Finance.
You will learn about:
- Accounts payable (invoice and expense claims handling, vendor communication)
- Accounts receivable (invoicing, payments)
- General ledger (financial reports, fixed assets)
- Participation in each area´s monthly closing activities
- HR (compensation rules)
You will succeed if you:
- Are studying finance or bookkeeping
- Have great English language skills
- Are a team-player
- Have a keen eye for details
