What to expect
We practice different recruitment methods in FBS, interviews being the most common. Depending on the position you are applying for, we may also use other selection methods, such as practical tasks, essays, role-based case studies and background checks, for example. This information will be shared with you during the recruitment process.
A group interview allows us to meet more candidates in a less stressful setting. Group interviews are a great way to open up without the usual pressure of one-to-one contact with a potential employer. It allows you to introduce yourself through different activities and show your personality while communicating in a group.
An individual interview is more personalised. Be ready to answer questions about your mindset, motivation, skills and future plans. Mindset beats previous experience, and the right attitude might have a big influence on your career in FBS.
Depending on the position you are applying for, you may also be asked to complete a recruitment test either before or during your interview. The tests are based on work tasks or general knowledge of the field you are applying for.
Tips for applying
Make sure your CV is up to date. Check your spelling and make sure all the information is correct and you have all relevant qualifications listed. Not all experience has to be work-related. It can also be experience as a volunteer or from a school project. If you have a mistake in your resume (such as an incorrect phone number), just email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Be sure to include a concise and to-the-point cover letter. Half of an A4 is a good length to aim for.
If you are invited to an interview, arrive on time. If something unexpected happens, give your recruiter a call (the numbers of our recruiters can be found at the end of the emails sent to you).
