Tips for applying
Update your CV. Check your spelling (twice) and make sure you have all the details correct and important facts listed. Not all experience has to be work related, it could be something you did as a volunteer or a school project as well. If it turns out that you have made a mistake in your resume (for example added an incorrect phone number), just email us firstname.lastname@example.org.
Behind every CV there should be a good cover letter. To have a well-presented, concise and to-the-point cover letter, use an easy-to-read font and do not get carried away with embellishments. Aside from ensuring its written using clear paragraphs – keep the right length. Too long, and it seems you cannot stick to the point, but too short, and you are unlikely to have covered everything we need to know. Aim for half a side of A4 and you will be on the right track.
If you make it into the interviews, come there on time. Punctuality is highly valued in FBS and the first impression is a great opportunity to show that you are punctual. If something unexpected happens, just keep us informed by calling: +372 744 0313.
Keep your phone muted (unless you have a really cool ringtone that will leave us impressed) while being on the interview. Being disturbed by an incoming call may interrupt your string of thought and make it harder for you to concentrate.
Dress properly and confidently, but remember that this is not any catwalk either. When you feel comfortable and confident you get to focus on what is truly important – you. Take an extra 5 minutes in the morning and you do not have to think about it for the rest of the day. Plus you will look great!
What to expect
We practice different ways of recruitment in FBS.
Group workshop allows us to meet with more candidates in a less stressful setting. The group workshops are a great way to open up without the usual pressure or first eye-to-eye contact with your potential future employer. It allows to introduce yourself through different activities and show your personality while communicating in a group.
Individual interview is more personalized. Be ready to answer questions about your mindset, motivation, skills and future plans. We are interested in what you have to say. We want our company to be joined by people who can see their future with us. Mindset beats previous experience and the right attitude might have a big influence on your career in FBS. Do not hesitate to talk from the heart, because in the end we want you to be in the right place as well.
Recruitment test includes problem solving, general knowledge, logic, mathematics, languages and depending on the open position some profession related questions. You will have 35 minutes to solve the test, you are given a calculator to use. After the test you have 10 minutes to fill out a form of a couple of questions to express your expectations.
The most important thing to remember about the interview is that we want to get to know you, so just be yourself!
We wish you a successful application journey in FBS!
